Through the precision of Iyengar Yoga and the fluidity of Ashtanga Yoga, we will deepen our understanding of the body, breath, and mind, creating space for a more conscious, stable, and transformative practice.
This retreat is designed for practitioners who wish to step out of their daily routine, dive deep into their practice, and discover new possibilities both on the mat and in life.

From June 9th to June 13th, 2027, in the beautiful serene setting of Sernancelhe, Portugal.

The retreat will be conducted in English or Portuguese, depending on the audience . The language will adapt dynamically to fit the needs of the participants present.

Absolutely. The retreat is designed for practitioners who want to expand their horizons. Day 1 includes an introduction on how to integrate both styles, and subsequent technical sessions (like the Day 3 workshop on Chaturanga and transitions) are fully adaptable to all levels.

Each full day starts with morning Meditation and Pranayama, followed by an Ashtanga session (Guided or Mysore style). Afternoons feature specialized Iyengar workshops (focusing on standing poses, twists, backbends, and inversions) or technical "Yoga Labs", wrapping up with restorative practices or philosophy chats in the evening.

Yes, a 3-installment payment plan is available for both accommodation options (initial deposit upon booking, with the remaining balance split over the following 2 months).

Cash refunds are not provided. However, if you cannot attend due to a documented medical reason (medical certificate required), you will receive a 1-year voucher valid for any of Tânia’s events or classes. Alternatively, you can gift your spot to a friend or family member. Note: No cancellations or voucher requests are accepted within 15 days of or on the day of the retreat, even with medical proof.

Vouchers are not issued for non-medical cancellations. However, if you reach out early via email or message, you may be allowed to transfer your registration to a friend, family member, or acquaintance for this specific event.

The retreat must be paid in full at least 2 months before the start date. If the full balance is not received by this deadline, your spot may be reassigned, and previous deposits will not be refunded.
Meet Cristina Dionísio
As a certified Yoga Instructor, YACEP provider, and Transformational Mentor, Cristina is dedicated to helping students move away from stress and anxiety into a life of balance and purpose. With a focus on safe anatomy, intentional breathwork, and practical philosophy, her goal is to empower the community with actionable tools that elevate both their physical practice and mental well-being.
Meet Tânia Fonseca
Before founding Yogaheart, I spent 20 years as a fashion model and 10 years as a flight attendant, eventually living in Riyadh to fly on the Saudi Royal Family's private jet.
Isolated in hotel rooms and facing severe exhaustion, I began stretching to cope. My colleagues pointed out that what I was doing was actually yoga, and we began practicing together. These tools brought me the stability and well-being that saved me from a burnout.
Driven by a deep desire to share this transformation, I resigned, bought a ticket to Goa, India, and completed my first 21-day Teacher Training. It was there that I truly discovered myself, and the soul of Yogaheart was born.
