Salt, Stars and

Sacred Silence:

Bolivia & Chile

With Cristina Dionísio & Inácio Rozeira

August, 20th - 31st 2026

Salt, Stars and the Edge of Silence

From the sacred waters of Lake Titicaca to the white infinity of the Uyuni Salt Flats, from the surreal lagoons of Eduardo Avaroa to the starlit skies of the Atacama Desert, and down to the poetic streets of Valparaíso — this retreat carries us through Bolivia and Chile as a living practice of yoga, meditation, breath and reflection. Landscapes become mirrors, myths become teachers, and each moment turns into ritual. A journey across elements — water, salt, fire, sky and sea — guiding us back to the truth of who we are.

Between Water & Silence

In Bolivia, our retreat begins at Lake Titicaca and in La Paz. In the cradle of Inca legends, we sail to the Island of the Moon and the Island of the Sun — sacred places where myths still breathe through the stones.

Between water and silence, each step feels like ritual, each breath an offering. In La Paz, the world’s highest capital, we cross cable cars suspended above the city and wander its streets, where women in colorful skirts and bowler hats embody the ancestral strength of a people who resist. Here, the gaze turns inward: we begin to encounter the self.

“Each gesture is a prayer, each breath dissolves into vastness.”

We continue to the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt desert on Earth. There, where sky and land dissolve into one another, we live the unique experience of practicing yoga upon the horizon’s mirror. Each gesture is a prayer, each breath dissolves into vastness. It is here, in the white and luminous heart of the Earth, that we allow the infinite to touch us.

Our path leads us to the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, one of the most surreal landscapes on the planet: red and green lagoons, flamingos dancing in the wind, volcanoes and mineral deserts. A dreamscape of extremes, where beauty reminds us of the universe’s raw creative force.

Crossing the Andes, we arrive in San Pedro de Atacama — an oasis for travelers and wanderers in the driest desert on Earth. At night, the sky becomes the brightest in the world: millions of stars ignite and the Milky Way reveals itself whole, as if it were only for us. In this place, we discover Light — not only above us, but within.

Descending the cordillera, we reach Santiago and follow the road to Valparaíso, a port of poets and a city painted in colors that read like verses. There, before the Pacific, we encounter ourselves once more, guided by the breath of magic realism — that Latin American spirit which gives soul to sea, street and song.

Cristina Dionísio

Retreat Leader & Guide I Founder of Cristina Dionísio Yoga

After two decades in the corporate world, my body began saying what my heart had long known: this wasn’t the life I was meant to live. Burnout, pressure, anxiety — it all reached a breaking point. That’s when yoga became more than a practice for me. It became a path.

Since my mid-30s, I’ve been walking this path through healing, reinvention, and the joy of living with purpose. And now, I share it with others through retreats, online programs, and weekly classes that bring together my biggest passions: yoga as a way of living, and my deep love for travel, nature, people, culture, and food.

My retreats aren’t escapes. They’re invitations. To pause, to breathe, and to start living in a way that reflects who you are becoming - journeys not just to beautiful places, but into presence, silence, and yourself.
